Created in 1990 s.c. ANDREESCU & GAIVORONSCHI s.r.l. is today one of the prestigious reference points in the Romanian contemporary architecture. Among it’s international and national distinctions, the most important are:

Ioan Andreescu, b.1957, is architect and professor Ph.d. at the Architecture and Urbanism Faculty, Politehnica University of Timișoara, teaching History of Modern Architecture, Comparative Architecture and coordinating The Masterclass for Restoration.
Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, since 2013.
Partner at Andreescu & Gaivoronschi Asociated Architects, holder of national and international prizes and nominalizations as Second prize at Central Glass Competition, Tokyo 1981, National Prize of the Union of Romanian Architects 1986, Prize and Medal of the International Biennale of Architecture Bucharest 1996,The ECCS European Prize for Steel Construction in 1997, National Prize UNRMI 1999, Arhitext Design prize 2001, Prize of the Order of Romanian Architects 2006, Nominalisation WAF Awards Barcelona 2010, Shortlisted by jury WAN Awards 2011, Knauf Prize 2013, Selected „100 Architects of the Year” Seoul 2016, Nominalised Romanian Building Awards SHARE 2019, Award at BIG SEE Ljubljana, 2021.

Vlad Gaivoronschi, b.1956, is architect and professor Ph.d. at the Architecture and Urbanism Faculty, Politehnica University of Timișoara, teaching architectural theory and studio.
Partner at Andreescu & Gaivoronschi, with realized projects, holder of national and international prizes and nominations as Second prize at Central Glass Competition, Tokyo 1981, National Prize of the Union of Romanian Architects 1986, 1988, Prize and Medal of the International Biennale of Architecture Bucharest 1996, The ECCS European Prize for Steel Construction in 1997, National Prize UNRMI 1999; Arhitext Design prize 2001, Nominations at the European Architecture Prize „Mies van der Rohe” 2008 and 2010, shortlisted at W.A.F. Barcelona 2010 and Berlin 2016, Selected „100 Architects of the Year” Seoul 2016, 2017, Winner at the German Design Award, Frankfurt 2018 and 2020, Winner at Big SEE Ljubljana 2019.
President of Romanian Order of Architects O.A.R., Timis County 2010-2018.
