At the centre of the evening is BIG SEE Talks, built around Finished / Unfinished: each invited practice presents one realised project and one still in development, one showing what has survived reality, the other what can still change. Along the way, we ask a simple question: What do you believe is still worth creating? It sits at the heart of BIG SEE’s annual theme UNFINISHED, asked here in Sarajevo and, throughout the year, to people everywhere who design, build, make, question, teach, invest, commission and imagine what comes next. The programme also brings together Bosnia’s BIG SEE Perspectives and BIG SEE Winners 2018–2026: different generations and stages within one evolving creative landscape.

U centru večeri nalaze se BIG SEE Talks, osmišljeni oko teme Finished / Unfinished: svaki pozvani studio predstavlja jedan realizovani projekat i jedan koji je još u razvoju – jedan koji pokazuje šta je izdržalo susret sa stvarnošću, a drugi šta se još može promijeniti. Tokom večeri postavljamo jednostavno pitanje: Šta vjerujete da još uvijek vrijedi stvarati? Ono se nalazi u samom središtu godišnje teme BIG SEE, UNFINISHED, i postavlja se ovdje u Sarajevu, kao i tokom cijele godine ljudima širom svijeta koji projektuju, grade, stvaraju, preispituju, podučavaju, investiraju, naručuju projekte i zamišljaju šta dolazi sljedeće. Program također okuplja BIG SEE Perspectives iz Bosne i Hercegovine i BIG SEE Winners 2018–2026: različite generacije i faze unutar jednog kreativnog pejzaža koji se neprestano razvija.

Good work does not travel by itself. Talent is everywhere, but access to it varies greatly, especially early in a career, when the work is already strong but the audience for it is still catching up. BIG SEE In Events bring emerging architecture and design practices together with BIG SEE Award winners, established professionals, businesses, media and decision-makers in cities across the region. Each edition starts with the local creative scene and creates a setting for direct exchange, new connections and future opportunities.

The events also help sustain BIG SEE Perspectives, through which promising practices gain visibility across the region. BIG SEE In adds a direct local layer to the BIG SEE network, while the BIG SEE Festival in Portorož brings these connections together on an international scale.

Dobar rad ne putuje sam od sebe. Talenat postoji svuda, ali pristup vidljivosti znatno se razlikuje, posebno na početku karijere, kada je rad već kvalitetan, ali publika koja ga prepoznaje tek počinje da se formira. BIG SEE In Events povezuju mlade i perspektivne arhitektonske i dizajnerske prakse s dobitnicima BIG SEE Award nagrada, afirmisanim profesionalcima, kompanijama, medijima i donosiocima odluka u gradovima širom regije. Svako izdanje polazi od lokalne kreativne scene i stvara prostor za direktnu razmjenu, nove kontakte i buduće prilike.

Događaji također doprinose razvoju BIG SEE Perspectives, kroz koji perspektivne prakse stiču veću vidljivost širom regije. BIG SEE In dodaje direktnu lokalnu dimenziju BIG SEE mreži, dok BIG SEE Festival u Portorožu ove veze okuplja na međunarodnom nivou.
