The redesign of the Ibis Styles Venus Hotel breathes new life into a 1971 building in the Venus resort, setting a benchmark for sustainability and creative design. Completed in just eight months, the project targeted a shift from the traditionally older clientele to young families and millennials.
The vibrant “Jungle” theme runs throughout the hotel’s 180 rooms, corridors, and communal spaces, showcasing playful elements such as animal-printed carpets, monkey-shaped lights, and murals that blend classical art with pop culture. Sustainability played a central role, with 70% of the original furniture and finishes being repurposed. The facades were refreshed with bright colors, 2.000 trees and shrubs were planted, and a cactus garden was introduced, enhancing the resort’s natural appeal.
Despite budget limitations, the project successfully merged old and new elements, garnering enthusiastic feedback from both guests and media. This transformation has positioned the hotel as a dynamic family destination, redefining the vacation experience along the Black Sea coast.
