The Lamella Chair Collection reintroduces the conference chair with plywood as its primary material. Its design builds on the expertise and craftsmanship of FORMDESIGN in shaping plywood into refined, functional forms.

Each chair is composed of two organically shaped plywood elements: the first forms an upholstered seat and back support, while the second creates a structural frame. The armrests are accentuated by milled solid-wood details that not only enhance functionality but also add a distinctive, elegant touch.

The chair’s shell is carefully designed to provide ergonomic support and maximum comfort. The back and armrests are separated, allowing the backrest to flex gently as the user sits, while the arms rest naturally on the arm supports.

The Lamella Collection offers extensive configuration options. The shell can be paired with different bases – ranging from a classic metal cross to a sophisticated bent-wood frame – making the chair adaptable to a wide variety of settings.
