PEN KLUB is a legendary Ljubljana restaurant in the very center of town. It has been well known for its food and the intimate atmosphere in a house with a big garden where also PEN Slovenija resides. When coming up the stairs to the 1st floor, the red entrance corridor takes us back in time as it features the shade of red from the former main dining room. The bar room is characterized by a warm mustard colour with uniquely reused retro ceiling lights and the counter dressed in rustic glass. The blue dining room was named after a fresco on the ceiling that was discovered and restored during construction and the TON chairs were upholstered in the PEN colors. The TOM DIXON chandelier was given a new unique and custom form by Andrej Mercina to avoid hiding the frescoes on the ceiling. White room’s own and unique artwork by Matej Stupica features scenes, views and objects from the history of this house and the garden.
