RE-TREE-T

It is a treehouse or a house among the trees, but here declined with a nautical-inspired design cut. Like a boat suspended in the pine forest, RE-TREE-T draws on the technology of textile materials to propose membrane envelopes that work in tension, like huge sails unfurled among the tree branches. The same geometry of the main awning is inspired by the unique shape of the mainsails of ancient boats, while the terrace is inspired by the deck of a sailboat, with a wooden top and yards at the top reaching out to suspend the second awning, this time a sail horizontal even habitable. Like real nautical architecture, RE-TREE-T captures the wind to cool the living space and, coupled with the amorphous silicon film, captures the sun to energize the internal devices. The innovative RE-TREE-T structure is housed within the Spina Family Camping Village in Lido di Spina, located near the suggestive Po Delta Park, a natural area characterized by a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna: over 1,000 species of plants, varied ecosystems, and an ever-changing landscape between canals, valleys and pine forests.
