The architectural studio was founded in 1989 by Karl Kerschbaumer and Harald Pichler. Since the end of 2020, Matylda Gosciniak, Gabriel Kerschbaumer, and Anton Treyer have completed the architectural partnership KUP - ARCH. In a process of continuous collaboration, projects are developed that focus on the client and his needs, while at the same time considering the site and the surroundings. This enables holistic, individual, and distinctive concepts. We always strive to go that little bit further in the design concepts to generate social added value for the surroundings wherever possible. The field of activity includes architectural planning starting with the creative concept development and ending with the details, construction management, and furnishing. The focus is on public competitions, commercial buildings, and private residences.

Founders
Karl Kerschbaumer and Harald Pichler both studied architecture at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. From the beginning, the focus was on competitions and public commissions. Since 2020, Matylda Gosciniak, Gabriel Kerschbaumer, and Anton Treyer have completed the management team.
