Maslina Resort, Hvar island

Maslina is borned from the earth of Hvar island. The environment of the surroundings enters in the resort through natural materials such as the terracotta for the redish ground, the limestone rocks or the dark green of the pines. The traveler is landing there to open his trunk, relax, enjoy the peacefull sea view and feel the fresh breeze dancing in the light curtains. Each detail has been thought to serve as much as possible the timeless comfort of the guests looking for mindfull luxury.

What makes this project one-of-a-kind?
Thought to respect and reflect the sourrounding natural environment. Major unique item is the giant desk in the lobby : a 12 tons stone bloc
from Brac island which was fitted on place before everything else. The cracks were filled with bronze to use the ancient traditional Japanese method (to repair broken objects), called Kintsugi.
