From mountain lovers for mountain lovers – this hotel is inspired by the diversity of the mountains of South Tyrol and the creativity of star designer Matteo Thun. The 5-star Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz is built on four wooden buildings, representing the 4 seasons and offers 97 light-flooded rooms & suites. The Spa is a stand-alone building on four floors with a hamam area, one Bio-Sauna, one panoramic Finnish sauna and two outdoor pools (rooftop pool and 25 m sports pool). On the top of the spa building you can find a panoramic reclining area. „The local South Tyrolean summit world and the famous mountaineers, who have shaped it, acted as a source of inspiration for the design”, as Matteo Thun describes it. High quality materials are combined with the regional and alpine approach. The ambition of the design is to surprise and inspire guests. The architecture of the building is corresponding with the surrounding nature. The traditional style of the region is interpreted in a contemporary way.
