Tribe Budapest Airport Hotel by este’r partners

Tribe Hotel is a globally expanding, youthful and modern hotel chain with a focus on innovative design, functionality and experiential services. Accor’s young brand aims to offer unique, stylish, and affordable accommodation, especially for young people and business travelers. Este’r Partners has been commissioned by Wing Zrt to design the interior of a new hotel to be built on the site of Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport.

Tribe Hotel is characterized by a clean and modern interior where creative design and practical solutions are combined. The hotel features community spaces, coworking zones, restaurants, and social events to help guests connect with each other. The building already had a modern vibe, and the interior design continued this trend to create a logical guest “flow” and community space, with lots of social areas. In the case of Tribe, functions merge where a communal and homely feel is created not only by the layout, but also by the sophisticated and dynamic design. The design of Tribe is characterized by dark colors and some strong, bold splashes of color, a bold combination of materials and patterns, the sophisticated, detailed design, and the often form-fitting furnishings, wall coverings, and decorative objects.

For the Airport Tribe Hotel in Budapest, the designers have envisioned the work of a digital cinematographic artist. Estonian photographer Virgo Haan’s moving images draw attention to the beauty of difference and social acceptance.
