An old, three-story seaside building was fully renovated to accommodate a young family of four and their guests. The intervention transformed it into a contemporary, yet Cycladian, residence, with a serene and meticulously detailed interior, where carefully composed materials and textures shape a rich experience.

An enclosed, outdoor staircase serves as the vertical circulation, connecting the separate floors and the rooftop. The ground floor includes the living spaces and one bedroom. A custom-designed dining table, made of metal and a white and blue ceramic tile as table top, stands at the heart of the space. The basement level and the first floor level accommodate 5 en-suite bedrooms. Arched doors, gentle curves, and geometric forms define the spatial identity. Natural materials – solid oak, organic textiles, and rattan panels – introduce texture, lightness, and warmth to the interior. Carefully selected tiles, colored basins, and custom fabrics further enhance a cohesive aesthetic, while the color palette draws inspiration from the island’s landscape, blending mostly sea blue, white, and sandy beige.
