We believe it is worth creating connections that carry something forward. PIETRA began with the image of stones shaped slowly by time, an observation of nature translated into an object for one of our most ordinary rituals: sitting and relaxing. Its name comes from the Italian pietra, but the chair was brought to life in Brazil through the craftsmanship of Mestre Artesão. That movement between Italy and Brazil, nature and human making, contemporary design and inherited knowledge reflects what we believe design can do: create a language between things that might otherwise remain separate. In a world increasingly defined by speed and optimisation, we still believe in objects that require dialogue, hands, material knowledge and time, not to preserve tradition unchanged, but to carry it somewhere new. That, for us, is still worth creating.
