DY House is located in Sazlı Altı, Ayvacık, Çanakkale, within a 4-decare olive grove, and designed for year-round living. The project reinterprets local architecture through a contemporary approach, strengthening its relationship with nature while ensuring comfort. The two-story, reinforced concrete structure was redesigned within its existing footprint.
Stones salvaged from abandoned village houses shape the front façade, while the remaining façades are finished with stucco for balance. The ground floor includes living areas defined by natural oak, green tones, and travertine flooring. The upper floor contains one master and two guest bedrooms, with the master opening to sea views. The terrace features a sauna and outdoor amenities. The landscape minimizes intervention, integrating an open-air dining area and fire pit.
