The park is located in Nitra on a river promontory, below an 8th-century castle. The aim was to transform the historic park into a place of relaxation for the 21st century. The park is divided into clear functional zones: playgrounds for small and older children, exercise areas, complemented by refreshment zones. The experience is enriched by a small farm, a hunting reserve, and a natural oxbow lake with beavers.
The heart of the park is the historic Frog Fountain, which has been redesigned as an interactive water feature. A new system of spiral paths leads from the fountain, connecting relaxation areas with custom-designed loungers set in fragrant flower beds, with perennials that promote rapid regeneration and relaxation. The playgrounds refer to local legends and are equipped with interactive elements. The park follows the principles of blue-green infrastructure: permeable paths, water infiltration, light-colored surfaces that reduce heat, and insect-friendly lighting.
