The historic administrative building on Hauptstraße was comprehensively renovated and integrated into a significant urban ensemble in the town center. In collaboration with the local municipality, a representative and open public building was created, while carefully preserving the character of the original structure.
The restored building envelope, featuring textured plaster, oak windows, and a wide staircase, emphasizes its public function. Inside, formerly closed spaces were opened up, offices expanded, and organized with timber-glass portals. The foyer and staircase were preserved, and wood paneling, natural timber floors, and earthy colors strengthen the local identity. The new attic with a terrace houses a meeting room with panoramic views. An integrated elevator ensures barrier-free access throughout.
