VAUarchitects

VAUarchitects

Slovak architecture studio VAUarchitects was founded in 2017 by Silvia and Ludovit Vitko. Their creative process focuses on bespoke solutions, seeking diverse outcomes, yet staying relevant to particular context. Studio leans toward minimalism, aiming for adequacy of design elements in every project, refusing both excess and mediocrity. Not limiting themselves to single architectural language, they remain constantly in pursuance of new inspirations. Their recent work on MTBIKER Showroom received BIG SEE Interior Design Award 2022 together with Slovak INSAID AWARD 2021 in Retail Category. Their current projects include office spaces, HoReCa and medical interiors, private residences and now underway construction of Mojmirka Piestany apartment building with expected completion in 2023.

Silvia and Ludovit Vitko studied architecture at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava with a year of exchange study at Politecnico di Milano. After three years of working with locally acclaimed architecture offices in Bratislava, they founded studio VAUarchitects (Vitko & Vitkova Architects and Urban designers). They are passionate about their work, always striving for the best solution possible, conscientious of the context and surroundings, with precision and sense for detail.
