AS+P Albert Speer + Partner GmbH is a globally operating, international planning office with more than 60 years of experience and offices in Frankfurt, Riyadh, and Muscat.

Our core disciplines are architecture, urban planning, open-space planning, and mobility. We offer multidisciplinary solutions and set standards in resource-, climate-friendly construction methods and in social sustainability. With an interdisciplinary team of 220 colleagues, and together with our clients and our partners, we develop, plan, and realize projects on all scales and in different fields, from spatial development plans to architectural details, incl. office and residential, airport, sports, cultural, educational projects, as well as concepts for large-scale events.

All AS+P projects have a human-centered approach, with a strong focus on sustainability and resilience. They always reflect the diversity and broad scope of our services, our holistic mind-set, and decades of experience of innovative architecture and planning practice.

The office was founded in 1964 by the town planner, Prof. Albert Speer. After winning a design competition, he established his first studio in Frankfurt. With a four-person team, he initially focused on new housing districts in the city. Soon, larger regional and urban development commissions followed in Asia and North Africa, along with the first architectural projects.

In 1973, the studio was restructured as SpeerPlan and grew rapidly through a broad range of projects in the Middle East. In 1985, AS&P Albert Speer & Partner GmbH (AS&P) was established. From the mid-1990s onward, AS&P expanded its work in China, founding a wholly owned subsidiary in 2007.

In 2016, Prof. Albert Speer handed management over to the next generation. In the tradition of a privately owned company, today, we look back on more than 60 years of international expertise, guided by a clear vision for today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges.
