Polifemo is a cabinet, an innovative aesthetical version of a piece of furniture that everyone owns in their houses. The huge one-eyed Cyclops with long legs, that in the Odyssey fight with Ulysses and is blinded by its alter-ego Nobody, suddenly knocks on our doors and become part of the furniture. The Giant reflects the characteristics of this cabinet: the big central eye becomes a handle and the thin metal legs sustain the structure, creating a contrast between the upper part and the lower one. Composed by a wood structure and a copper covering embellished by ornamental engravings, Polifemo is an unusual but unique piece of furniture that makes the difference showing its strong character.
