At the centre of this year’s programme is a live conversation between Smiljan Radić Clarke, recipient of the 2026 Pritzker Prize, and Swiss architect Christian Kerez. Their encounter will open a dialogue on architecture, the creative process and some of the contemporary challenges facing the profession.
Radić Clarke, born in Santiago de Chile, has developed an architectural practice known for projects that move between experimentation, construction, landscape and artistic collaboration. After graduating from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, he continued his studies in Venice and has since lectured and taught internationally.
Christian Kerez established his Zurich practice in 1993 and has combined architectural work with a long academic career at ETH Zurich, where he taught design and architecture until 2025. His work is characterised by an ongoing investigation into structure, space and the fundamental possibilities of architecture.
Alongside their conversation, Oris Day will present three Croatian practices previously featured in the New Perspectives exhibition, organised to mark eleven years of the Oris House of Architecture: NEKOLIKO, Krešimir Damjanović and SKUP-A.
Founded by Dora Lončarić and Mario Kralj, Zagreb-based NEKOLIKO works across different scales, programmes and architectural typologies. Krešimir Damjanović combines independent architectural practice with teaching at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Zagreb, while SKUP-A, led by Filip Romić and Krešimir Romić, explores technologies, processes and materials through the intersection of analogue and digital approaches.
The conversations and lectures will be moderated by Mia Roth Čerina, Vedran Mimica, Maroje Mrduljaš and Dinko Peračić.
Oris Day 2026 will take place at the Mozaik Event Centre in Zagreb, bringing together established international voices and emerging Croatian practices within a shared conversation about architecture today.
