The countdown has begun: applications for the EDGE Awards 2026 are open only until 17 May.
Organised within EDGE Architecture Festival Budapest (18–19 June 2026), the EDGE Awards is a live international competition, where selected finalists present their work on stage in front of an international jury and audience.
Categories:
- READY?MADE – realised projects
- ON THE STREETS – public space and urban interventions
- V-TOPIA – speculative projects, digital spaces, video game and cinematic worlds
- HOLD IT – object design and interior design projects
- FRESH MEAT – student works (no application fee)
Applicants may submit up to three projects within one application.
EDGE Awards International Jury
The jury is composed of leading international architects and thinkers, among others:

- Michel Rojkind (Rojkind Arquitectos)
- Rodia Valladares (Studio Gang)
- Beat Huessler (Oppenheim Architecture)

and many other international architects, designers and thinkers.
