Karin A. Košak, a Master of Pharmacy, is an assistant professor and lecturer at the Faculty of Design, where she lectures on the history of furniture and interior design at the Department of Interior Design and on the history of fashion at the Department of Fashion Design.
3o years ago she co-founded the Phoenix Gallery, a gallery with a view, combining cutting-edge antiques with iconic design pieces in a modern and sophisticated “concept store”. She has organized and curated several exhibitions of foreign and Slovenian design. Her gaze is on the one hand turned towards the beautiful past, on the other hand looking for reflections in the present.
Today, she runs and curates the KAR=IN sales gallery, a space for her design lines of furniture and clothing, as well as selected Slovenian fashion design. You can find her at 3 Tavčarjeva Street, Ljubljana.
