The theme of the counter, which represents the first true physical point of contact with the hotel, is emphasized through a visual “telescope” that leads directly from the entrance to the reception desk. Along this route, on the right, one encounters the very contemporary extension of the gourmet lounge – a permeable display-like volume – followed by the illuminated path to the main dining room, while on the left there is an extraordinary bar area.
Here too, the design explores the inverse of the previous situation: a counter with a strong material presence and a multitude of intimate, enclosed spaces where guests can sit and enjoy not only drinks but also dishes from the kitchen. It is conceived as a space for social interaction, work, and leisure at the same time, within an environment that stimulates all the senses.
The fireplace remains central and leads to a more secluded living area within the reception zone, where sofas become the focal point, followed by a library area designed for socializing, wine tastings, and the enjoyment of fine contemplative spirits, as well as for light lunches.
