The FORESTIS Villa is located at 1.800 meters above sea level – a private retreat, surrounded by forests, that can be booked exclusively for up to ten people and boasts its own spa and garden, as well as a concierge, butler, and chef. This architectural rarity, dating from 1912, was designed as a private residence for the physicians attending the nearby sanatorium.

Playful loggias, ornaments, and generously proportioned rooms all bear witness to the architectural heritage of the Wilhelminian and Art Nouveau eras. The challenge was to reconstruct this Alpine villa down to the last detail, in accordance with the original hand-drawn plans, all while ensuring it met the requirements of a sustainable, future-proof business. The architects worked closely with the Office for Monument Preservation and specialist restorers to renovate or renew floors, ceilings, furniture, and so on, using traditional craft methods.
