Barbara Prinčič
Industrial designer Barbara Prinčič is a proponent of sustainable design, incorporating circular and regenerative approaches. In her development concepts, she focuses on the reuse of resources, materials, and products. The concept of waste is foreign to her; she prefers to talk about residuals. From practical research experience, she knows that there are no discarded items that cannot be recycled and reused. She shares her knowledge and experience with younger generations in the Industrial Design program at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, where she teaches. She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions and is an invited lecturer at symposiums, seminars, workshops, and conferences both domestically and abroad, where she also frequently exhibits her work.
