Barbara Prinčič (MA), an industrial designer by training, is a strong advocate of sustainable design, integrating circular and regenerative principles into her work. Her development concepts focus on the reuse of resources, materials, and products. The notion of waste is foreign to her; instead, she speaks of residuals. Drawing on hands-on research experience, she is convinced that no discarded item is beyond recycling or reuse.
She shares her knowledge and expertise with younger generations in the Industrial Design program at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana, where she teaches. She has received numerous awards and recognitions and is frequently invited to speak at symposiums, seminars, workshops, and conferences both in Slovenia and abroad, where she also regularly exhibits her work.
