Agathe Descamps: Kubatur

Agathe Descamps is an interior designer and the founder of Kubatur and Intérieurs. Since 2008, the Frenchwoman lives in Austria and works with her background in theater, car- pentry and design in various fields. Her two children inspired her for the concept of Kubatur. Kubatur is a ramification of a larger project, Intérieurs, which focuses on rental situations. Intérieurs creates architectural room-solutions for rental apart- ments, which allow tenants to adapt their home according to their wishes, needs and life changes: we generate new spaces with furniture. Thanks to this concept of „Fur- niture architecture“, Intérieurs combines the features of inter- ior architecture with the cha- racteristics of furniture.
