Hampi Art Lab fosters creative thinking by offering a space for collaboration and experimentation. Located on an eight-acre site in Karnataka’s Vijayanagar, the campus draws inspiration from the riverine landscape of the Tungabhadra and the gentle contours of the surrounding hills.

A central “space of flows” forms the heart of the project, guiding movement through the property. On either side, a sculpted hillscape houses shared amenities. Buildings feature accessible roofs, creating layered landscapes at ground and terrace levels that double as settings for installations. Stabilized pebble paths, recycled stone mosaics, and native planting shape the terrain. The entry court opens to the Gallery, Café, and Pavilion leading to a central court, workshops, studios, amphitheatres, a sculpture plaza, and residential quarters for artists.
