Biomimicry Phone Booth

The 3D-printed Biomimicry Phone Booths are walk-in pods made entirely from a single material. Inspired by the logarithmic spiral of a seashell, their geometry diffuses and redirects sound, creating a quiet acoustic cocoon within noisy office environments. Like a shell protecting its interior, the booth shields the user while offering a calming experience.

Biomimicry in Practice
Single-material strategy: One continuous printed concrete provides structure, sound blocking, and echo diffusion, no extra layers or adhesives needed.

Spiral sound path: The curved form breaks direct noise lines and its widening shape reduces sound pressure. The tactile texture and organic form bring biophilic calm to the workspace, enhancing well-being while showcasing how natural form and advanced tech can create sustainable, high-performance interior solutions.
