The Wahaaj tables beautifully translate Qatari heritage into contemporary, adaptable design. Part of the Imagining Utopia collection, these semi-transparent pieces are crafted from molded plastic intricately inlaid with recycled yarn. This unique material combination creates a mottled finish with wave-like patterns that cast dynamic, shifting shadows when light passes through – an effect directly inspired by the vibrant stained glass windows found in traditional Qatari homes.

Available in five geometric shapes formed from repeated squares, the collection references the modular and communal nature of nomadic Bedouin furniture. The blocky forms can be connected to create endlessly adaptable compositions, while the raised lip around the perimeter of each square allows for the seamless integration of cushions and trays. It is a sophisticated blend of ancestral functionality and modern, responsible luxury.
