MLKK Studio was founded by three architects: Mavis Yip, Kian Yam, and Kwanho Li. The architectural studio is dedicated to creating architecture for the common good. Our studio's Chinese name, "和 (woh)," reflects our ethos of collaboration, mindfulness, peace, and balance, guiding our approach, methodology, and practice. Our studio’s vision is to redefine architectural responses to current and future challenges in the human habitat.

As architects, we believe that design is meant for the people. Our approach is deeply rooted in a conscious and mindful understanding of human needs, which we uncover through rigorous, on-site research. Our studio excels in storytelling, materiality, research, and innovative application in commercial settings, which are strong aspects of our work. We are truly humbled to have received recognition for these endeavors through multiple international awards.

In the social and humanitarian sector, we are actively involved in the design and construction of architecture and built environments, with the aim of promoting positive behavioral change.
