Maria Konstantoglou Architecture & Design is an award-winning architecture and interior design studio, led by architect and researcher Maria Konstantoglou. The practice integrates architectural design, environmental research, and spatial innovation to create refined, human-centered environments across residential, commercial, and wellness projects.

Having lived abroad for more than a decade, Maria has gained international professional experience in design and conducted academic research in environmental design, with a focus on daylighting systems. When establishing her studio, Maria Konstantoglou defined its guiding principles around sustainability, the thoughtful use of daylight, a human-centered user experience, and the expression of materiality. Its work is characterized by minimalist forms, organic spatial flow, and carefully crafted environments that promote comfort and wellbeing.

With expertise in LEED accreditation, Maria Konstantoglou also collaborates with international architecture studios on building- and urban-scale projects. Focusing on the individuality of each project, the studio delivers spaces that balance aesthetics, functionality, and environmental performance. The studio has been awarded by the BIG SEE International Architecture Awards and the Interior Awards 2026.

Maria Konstantoglou is the founder of Maria Konstantoglou Architecture & Design, an architecture, research, and design practice based in Greece. She holds a Diploma in Architecture and Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MPhil in Environmental Design from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD from the University of Thessaly.

Her background combines architecture, environmental design, daylighting research, and interior design. She has worked with SOM in San Francisco and as a principal research associate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on dynamic façades and daylighting systems. She currently teaches as an adjunct professor at the School of Engineering at the University of Thessaly. Her studio works across architecture, interiors, retail, and hospitality, creating refined spaces that combine functionality, material sensitivity, and a strong sense of identity.
