Introducing Junk& Reich Architekten BDA

Each of our projects is unique - shaped through an intensive engagement with both the context and the specific project requirements.

Our architectural firm was founded in 1990 by architects Klaus Reich and Ulrich Junk. Jörg Baum, a long-standing member of Junk & Reich, has strengthened the management team since 2020. Since January 2025, architects Jörg Baum and Götz Kühne von Obstfelder formed the sole executive leadership. The founding architects remain shareholders in the company.

We are committed to an architecture that prioritizes functional requirements, design quality, and sustainability. Close dialogue with our clients, a strong awareness of costs, and the timely delivery of projects are at the core of our work.

Each project we undertake is one of a kind - developed through a careful and thoughtful response to its context and project requirements. From the outset, our clients are actively involved in the conceptual development and planning process.

Our team of dedicated professionals - both young and experienced - brings technical expertise, individual strengths, creativity, and commitment to every project. We work collaboratively using BIM (Building Information Modeling), integrating all construction- and operation-relevant information into a comprehensive digital building model. This approach allows us to provide real-time data on quality and costs, and to communicate our designs clearly through detailed 3D visualizations.
