GaS Studio was established in 1997 with offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Milan Italy.  We serve a broad range of clients from institutional and cultural to commercial, retail, wine making and housing.  In all of our work we seek to manage meaningful designs that are responsive to our clients’ needs, create memorable spaces that contribute to their communities and landscapes, and touch the land and the environment as gently and as positively as possible.

Our modest ‘world practice’ allows us to take advantage of industry advances in both Europe and the US, while also being able to offer the responsiveness of a ’24 hour’ office that, alas, never sleeps.  Complimenting each other, our sister offices bring diverse client types and site challenges into each other’s work, creating a uniquely dynamic office environment and broad perspective.
