Ormos Tartışık North Phase includes three single-story houses and a six-unit apartment block. Though compact, the houses offer efficient layouts with open kitchens and living areas oriented toward the view of Ayvacık Dam. Positioned on different levels along the slope, the rear block and front houses ensure unobstructed views for all units.

Upper-floor apartments are reached by a stair and open rear corridor leading to balconies that also serve as verandas for the garden-level units, which open directly to the landscape. Façades combine local natural stone and rough plaster, creating a layered, tactile character. Stone bases anchor the volumes to the terrain, while lighter, plastered surfaces define openings and reflect the interior organization. Variations in texture and depth reduce the perceived mass and echo the scale of the village. Nearby, the land installation “Prayer Space”, by Sinan Logie, sits beneath a wild pear tree, framing the guesthouse’s view toward the horizon.
