Mirror Box Apartment by LIA arhitektura and STUDIO GRUDA

The entire apartment is conceived as an open space with a closed volume containing the bathroom and storage space. The idea was to cover volume’s walls with mirrors in order to create an independent, reflective body in the space that is dematerialized, reflecting the surroundings with mirrors, and further visually enlarging the apartment. The volume is the only static element, surrounded by furniture in open space.

The bedroom is separated from the living room by a glass wall that physically and acoustically separates the rooms, but visually connects them and creates an open space. The white curtain placed in the bedroom allows the two rooms to be visually separated as desired. Kitchen element, which is designed in wood, is in contrast with monochromatic colors of the rest of the apartment, giving the space additional warmth.
