Lutz Kucher is an entrepreneur, designer, and innovation strategist whose rare fusion of strategic thinking and creative vision has inspired people, companies, and entire industries.
He played a pivotal role in envisioning and shaping the eBike and scooter market as we know it today – providing the competitive edge for players like Bosch eBike Systems, Panasonic, and Haibike on their path to market leadership.
Driven by the conviction that innovation must serve people, not just markets, he co-founded Spoke Safety – a paradigm-shifting mobility start-up on a mission to protect vulnerable road users by connecting them with the wider mobility ecosystem.
More recently, he co-founded a cooperative network dedicated to crafting a blueprint for a more socially just and sustainable economy – asking not how much more we can produce, but how can we create this fragile balance between economical success, sustainability and community wellbeing.
Alongside his ventures, Lutz has spent years teaching Strategic Design and Transformation Design at FH Joanneum in Graz, where he and his students developed concepts for more sustainable mobility and societies – proving that the most powerful design question is what matters truly.
