The Kvadrat Really Textile Tabletop™ is a circular, high-quality solution. Crafted from upcycled end-of-life textiles, Textile Tabletop™ is a decorative and high-quality alternative to conventional materials, as it is made of 70% textile waste and 30% waste binder. In 2025, Kvadrat Really reduced the CO2 footprint of the Textile Tabletop™ from 13.3 kg/m2 to 9,4 kg CO2. This represents an estimated 30% reduction in CO2-equivalent emissions compared to a conventional tabletop, accounting for the entire lifecycle from material extraction to a finished tabletop ready for mounting. Produced on-site in Denmark, Kvadrat Really successfully processed over 550 tons of textile waste in 2024, upcycling their customers’ discarded textiles into functional, versatile, and aesthetic tabletops. Every colour is a blend of existing textile waste. Therefore, colour variations from batch to batch will occur, due to a no dyestuff scheme. The random laying of fibres guarantees uniqueness in all products, allowing customers and users to reflect on the zero-waste and low-impact agenda. Textile Tabletop™ is a reusable, plug-and-play solution for existing and new table frames, ideal for people and brands actively driving progress towards a no-waste future. It is suitable for multiple horizontal applications where surfaces may be exposed to liquids, heat and abrasion, and comes in standard sizes for work- space tabletops. Furthermore, Textile Tabletop™ is pre-coated, either finished or semi-finished, ensuring no additional costs. It offers a choice of matching or contrasting edges and is highly durable too, meeting the industry’s highest standard for wear and tear: category five surface resistance.
