About the Prof. Francesco Zurlo (Politecnico di Milano – Ambassador IDD)
Francesco Zurlo, full professor of Industrial Design, is Dean of the School of Design at the Politecnico di Milano and President of POLI.design, a non-profit consortium founded by the Politecnico itself. His research interests are focused on strategic, systemic and creative themes of design, in consideration of the sustainability of the impacts both on innovation and business, and on human development. He is a member of the scientific committee of the Observatory “Design Thinking for Business” of the Politecnico and of the ADI Index. He is director of the Executive Master in Design Strategy and System Innovation. He is also the co-curator of the Italia Geniale-Design Enables exhibition which has collected a selection of iconic objects of Made in Italy design, a tribute to the creativity and work of Italian companies, set up in the Italian Pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai and then transferred to Rome to the historic headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Development.
