Overlooking a sprawling plot, this residence commands sweeping views of the surrounding hills, epitomizing a harmonious blend of transparency and seclusion. The architectural concept pivots on the delicate interplay between visibility and privacy, achieved through a seamless integration of structure, landscape, and vegetation. This delicate balance ensures residents enjoy panoramic vistas without sacrificing their sense of intimacy.
The house’s design features two distinct volumes, stacked elegantly atop one another. The upper volume, a pristine white box seemingly floating above the living area, extends with overhanging terraces at both the front and back. This element not only shelters the entrance from the elements, but also conceals the private bedroom areas, lending the building a sleek, linear silhouette. At the heart of the home, the living room benefits from expansive views, both front and back. A central staircase, minimalist in design, becomes a focal point, its austere lines softened by the greenery below. This juxtaposition enhances the spatial experience, blending architectural rigor with natural elements.
Despite its seemingly rigid and minimalist form, the house opens generously to its natural surroundings through expansive sliding windows, dissolving the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces, and creating a profound connection with nature.
