With the House of Interior, Aufschnaiter has created a place where interior design is reimagined and can be experienced with the senses. The project combines two buildings into a harmonious whole – an architectural balancing act between old and new, between structure and lightness. The result is a building that spatially translates Aufschnaiter’s brand identity: bright, modern, with alpine character and the finest craftsmanship from its own factory.
The iconic “A” becomes a design leitmotif – a symbol of quality, regionality, and attitude. The elements of water, air, fire, and earth characterize the spatial staging and make design tangible across all the senses. The House of Interior is more than a furniture store – it is a marketplace that combines inspiration, materiality, and emotion. A statement for lived design – with heart, precision, and the courage to change.
