For Fleischmann Kitchen and Living GmbH, a comprehensive architectural project was realized, combining renovation, restructuring, and a distinctive new extension. The aim was to meet the functional requirements of a growing company while establishing a clear and identity-defining architectural language. Workshop and showroom areas were reorganized, technically upgraded, and spatially refined.
The new southern extension provides additional exhibition space, offices, and an integrated service apartment, forming a confident architectural conclusion to the ensemble. Its volume derives from the existing building, but is reinterpreted as a reduced, dark, monolithic structure with carefully placed cuts, loggias, and recesses. Exposed concrete, dark-stained timber, and precisely articulated openings reference the company’s craftsmanship tradition while expressing contemporary clarity. Guided by principles of reduction, precision, and durability, the project strengthens the architectural identity of the company’s headquarters in a subtle yet distinctive manner.
