An essential gesture, capable of transcending time.
ECLISSI takes shape from a pure geometric form — the circle — which, through repetition, creates a vibrant, almost hypnotic surface. The composition recalls the rigorous elegance of Italian modernism, evoking the atmospheres and proportions of the 1940s and 1950s, while translating them into a precise and contemporary language. Material plays a central role. Crafted in handmade cement tiles, the project reveals a matte, velvety surface where color is not applied, but embedded within the material itself. Each module becomes part of a larger rhythm, where solids and voids interact in balance, generating depth and movement. The color palette, rooted in MIAMILANO’s natural tones and enriched with Granata and Cacao shades, enhances the refined character of the design while maintaining strong visual coherence. ECLISSI is not just a surface, but a design system. Conceived to be adapted across different materials, it interprets space with subtlety and identity, becoming an element that defines architecture. A project that does not imitate the past, but absorbs it — transforming it into a contemporary gesture.
