This single-family house is designed around an inner courtyard that connects the main functions – dining, hallway, kitchen, and living – to nature. The vaulted ceiling in the living area and the generous glazed surfaces enhance the spatial experience, guiding transitions between zones through subtle height differences.
The project follows nZEB principles, integrating high-performance insulation, energy-efficient aluminum joinery, a heat recovery ventilation system, and a heat pump. Natural light, visual permeability, and thermal comfort are all essential elements in defining a sustainable and serene living environment.
