Case atrio by Konzola Arhitektura

Casa Nini and Casa Maria are two family homes built on land once owned by the grandparents, whose names they now carry. The project becomes a tribute to memory, continuity, and roots. The houses are mirrored courtyard homes, divided from the original atrium concept, connected by a narrow, central lane. At their heart grow ancient olive trees – silent witnesses to generations of family life – around which daily living still unfolds.

The courtyards form quiet, sheltered spaces for rest and reflection, while the pool areas act as social zones for gathering and outdoor living. Inspired by classical courtyard typologies, living spaces open toward the atrium, with private areas placed for comfort and privacy. Natural materials and earthy façades help the houses blend into the landscape. With thoughtful planting and seasonal vegetation, the project unites architecture, nature, and memory – homes meant not only to live in, but to inherit.
