The inspiration for the project came from the architecture itself and the clients. We received the house design while it was still in the Preliminary Study phase, which gave us the freedom to suggest some interior solutions to reinforce the already well-established concept.
In the first meeting, the clients presented us with extensive research on what constitutes essentialist architecture, not necessarily minimalist. We fell in love with it and created all the finishing solutions, furniture design, and curation of freestanding furniture based on this premise of being essential. A practical and naturally timeless house, serving as a foundation for the family’s story to be told.
