This project, designed for the home of an architect and an engineer, beautifully embodies the residents’ distinct personalities and professional expertise. It serves as a true “laboratory of ideas”, exploring innovative solutions and unconventional material combinations, such as wood, stainless steel, fabric-clad cabinetry, and delicate crochet curtains coexisting within the same space.
A hallmark of this design is its bespoke nature, meticulously crafted like tailored couture. Every piece of carpentry was custom-designed and built exclusively for the apartment, exemplified by the elegant, suspended buffet – a testament to engineering lightness – and the master suite’s unique bedside table. Brazilian artistry is celebrated throughout, with carefully curated artworks enriching the interiors. The furniture selection further enhances the apartment’s exclusivity.
Predominantly featuring meticulously restored modernist pieces, including iconic dining chairs by Jorge Zalszupin and a living room armchair by Lafer, these timeless designs are harmoniously integrated with select contemporary items. This thoughtful blend creates a sophisticated and deeply personal sanctuary, a unique interpretation of modern living.
