Bence László Dobos

Bence is a member of the Archikon architects studio. Since 2015, he has been involved in the design of several public buildings in Hungary. His work ranges from educational facilities through Budapest’s bath architecture to historic monuments. The preservation, adaptive reuse, and contemporary reinterpretation of buildings lie at the core of his architectural approach.

Alongside his practice-based attitude, he is deeply committed to education. As a lecturer, he has been a visiting adjunct at Moholy-Nagy Univesity of Art and Design (MOME) for over six years, where he teaches architectural design and experimental studio courses.

He received his doctoral degree in 2025, with his primary research focusing on the exploration of atmosphereas an architectural and aesthetic concept. In 2024, he was a founding member of aetmostudio, a research-based collective dedicated to theoretical work and education at MOME.
