Auto Bibaj is a car showroom designed as a distinctive architectural statement, characterized by sharp angles and bold geometric lines. Its overall silhouette is instantly recognizable from afar, yet it transforms dynamically when experienced along the main road, revealing new shapes with every perspective. The core ambition was to craft an eye-catching design that embodies our studio’s signature style, defined by a constant exploration of inclined lines and unconventional forms.
The site is positioned at the city’s entrance, within a semi-rural setting. At the heart of the design stands a striking parametric canopy, the building’s defining feature. In our practice, we embrace daring experimentation with forms, and this shelter embodies that spirit. Viewers interpret it in different ways: some see echoes of futuristic spacecraft, others are reminded of marine vessels, while many recognize our studio’s ongoing fascination with oblique geometries and complex shapes that provoke strong reactions.
This, to us, is the essence of architecture – creating works that spark imagination, invite multiple interpretations, and inspire, like abstract art, where each viewer discovers their own meaning. The showroom accommodates a wide range of car brands, so flexibility was key. We designed a space capable of showcasing diverse vehicles at their best. The entrance is marked by the dramatic canopy and a central ramp that punctuates the building’s volume, ensuring clear visibility.
