Alva is a contemporary pendant light shaped by the relationship between texture and light. The design focuses on controlling how light spreads. Its character comes from its spherical form and a woven, sculptural surface that creates soft, shifting light patterns. Small openings on the surface let light pass through, casting subtle patterns onto nearby surfaces. From different angles, the patterns that shape Alva’s texture overlap and the openings seem to disappear, creating a dynamic visual effect. This movement, combined with the minimal sphere form, gives the piece a strong sense of depth.

The open bottom directs light downward, supporting both ambient and functional lighting of everyday use. This makes Alva suitable for both residential and hospitality interiors. The material also plays an important role in the design. Alva is made from a plant-based material enriched with recycled wood fibers and comes in three color options. Its natural texture and controlled color palette influence how light is diffused, contributing to its dynamic and sculptural character. Even on its own, Alva becomes a quiet yet striking focal point within a space. It brings together light, texture, and form in a calm and refined way.
