The Ramses Stool is a sculpted seat designed in the shape of Pharaoh Ramses’ legs. On the back, it features hieroglyphs that spell out his royal name, Ra-mes-su. This name means “Strong of Maat is Re, chosen of Re,” showing the pharaoh’s connection to the sun god Re and the power of truth and balance (Maat) in ancient Egyptian belief. The symbols are inspired by the traditional cartouche used to honor the king, just like the ancient inscriptions of Ramses’ titles as Lord of the Two Lands.
